| Description: | TransWest Credit Union is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to manage our busiest branch. The primary duties of the job include overseeing the day to day operations of the branch, booking mortgage and consumer loans, and ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. | Duties: | Responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Credit Union’s objectives.
Oversee and delegate day to day operations to the branch personnel.
Develop new deposit and loan business.
Underwrite consumer and mortgage loans up to the amount assigned per credit union policy; review and approve underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
Provide leadership, training and supervision for the credit union branch by directing, developing, motivating, and disciplining branch personnel.
Monitor branch operating results relative to established objectives and insure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
Maintain communications with the executive management; prepare and submit standard reports; attend management meetings.
Represent the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, community, sponsor organizations, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
Monitor all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.

| Qualifications: | A bachelors' degree in business related study.
2-5 years Management and Lending experience.
Excellent team-building, organizational, and leadership skills using an innovative and flexible management style, creativity, assertiveness, sensitivity, and motivation.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively through sound decision-making processes.
